Do I have bad vibes enough to kill actual hardware? Possibly. Needless to say the 'puter has now been fixed, and no, this is not a Seagate hard drive anymore. Fuck.

Edit: and to add insult to injury, it looks like my DVD drive is also going... something tells me that a DVD drive should NOT sound like a 125cc racing kart... >:(

made me think a bit, ever thought about putting a UPS? or something like that. old homes can have bad wirings and give bad electricity to your computer. lost half my compuer like that few months ago. cost about 60$ and will regulate the quality of electricity and also give you 5 minutes to turn off computer whe losing power.
